Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate warehouse staff activities including receiving, storing, picking, organizing, and distributing goods; ensure tasks are accurate and timely.
• Oversee inventory management with regular stock checks, cycle counts, and discrepancy reconciliation.
• Manage shipping and receiving processes; ensure incoming shipments are accurate, quality checked, and properly accounted for.
• Promote a safe work environment; enforce safety policies, conduct inspections, and foster safety culture among staff.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements or best practices to boost productivity and reduce costs.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures and perform other duties as assigned.

Position Description

The warehouse supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse facility, ensuring efficient and smooth functioning of all warehouse activities.

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff, including receiving, storing, pikcing,organizing,anddistributinggoods.Ensurethatalltasksarecompletedaccurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintainproperinventorylevelsbyoverseeinginventorymanagementprocesses, including regular stock checks, cycle counts, and reconciling any discrepancies.
• Supervisetheshippingandreceivingprocesses,ensuringthatincomingshipmentsare checked for accuracy, quality, and quantity.
• Ensuresafeworkingenvironments.Enforcesafetypoliciesandprocedures,conduct regular safety inspections, and promote a culture of safety among warehouse staff.
• Seek opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction by identifying inefficiencies or bottlenecks in warehouse operations and implement changes or best practices to enhance productivity and efficiency.

Education Requirements

The Warehouse Lead starting pay will be competitive and commensurate with the chosen candidate’s qualifications and experience. The target starting pay is $20. This is a Hourly Non-Exempt position, which is eligible for overtime pay.
