Job summary

The Louisiana Downs Investment Company is seeking a Beverage Server for the grave shift to provide prompt, friendly beverage service on the casino floor. You will deliver alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, take orders, maintain station cleanliness, and ensure compliance with gaming and alcohol service regulations.

Qualifications include 21+ years of age, ability to obtain required licenses, and strong customer service through fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

Prior beverage, hospitality or customer service experience preferred.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must be able to obtain and maintain gaming license, permits, and alcohol service certifications.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently while remaining attentive to guest needs.

Responsibilities

Provide friendly, attentive beverage service to guests on the casino floor.
Take and fulfill beverage orders in a timely manner.
Maintain station cleanliness and organization.
Deliver alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with policies and laws.
Verify identification and follow responsible alcohol service procedures.
Monitor guests for signs of intoxication and notify a supervisor when necessary.
Handle cash and other payments when applicable.
Restock supplies and notify management when needed.
Build positive relationships with guests and provide exceptional service.
Collaborate with Casino Operations, Security, Food & Beverage and other departments.
Respond professionally to questions and escalate issues when appropriate.
Follow all policies, safety procedures, gaming regulations, and appearance standards.
