Job summary

CenterPoint in Woodbury, MN, is seeking a Graphics Technician to lead end-to-end graphic prep, pre-production, and client-ready deliverables for multiple projects. You will collaborate with the Graphics Manager, Account Teams, and external vendors to ensure production readiness and on-time delivery.

Ideal candidates have sign making, vinyl, and finishing experience, plus proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and RIP software.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• "Sign Making" experience is required.
• Proven experience with vinyl, laminating, mounting and vinyl application.
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign & Photoshop) is required.
• Knowledge of printing processes and RIP software required.
• Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
• Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to quickly learn and apply step-by-step procedures; basic technical skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute tasks assigned by the Graphics Manager with emphasis on efficiency, quality and accuracy.
• Manage multiple projects at once and adhere to tight deadlines.
• Manage administrative responsibilities in NetSuite including Tasks, status updates, and time tracking.
• Complete Pre-Production and vendor tasks: create template files, GELs, review client files, send final layouts/proofs, and obtain client approvals.
• Maintain organized job folders per internal processes.
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure on-time delivery aligned with project requirements.
• Follow PO process to ensure accurate vendor billing information.
• Review proofs from external vendors and provide final approval for quality and accuracy.
• Complete Production tasks: substrates, Velcro/tape application, test fitting, trimming, laminating, vinyl application, BeMatrix/EZ wall frames, and pre-masking.
• Maintain clean work environment to prevent damage or loss of materials.
• Act as quality control checkpoint and collaborate with Account Teams and Project Managers.
• Work independently with ownership of projects; adapt to changing needs.
