Your Role
In the Graphic Production Supervisor role, you have various responsibilities related to leading, instructing, and reporting on the staff responsible for physically constructing graphic items, project by project. Your primary responsibility is to lead and train your team effectively. You determine the necessary working hours for the graphics production staff to meet the workload demands. Additionally, you aim to minimize the outsourcing of graphics production work while training and improving your team’s understanding and capabilities.
Another aspect of your role is managing job timelines and deadlines. This involves working to have up-to-date status of active projects and maintain clear communication with all relevant stakeholders, both upstream and downstream, regarding department workload. To facilitate this, you manage, maintain, and update an internal schedules that can be easily shared with other production personnel.
You serve as print and fabric finishing oversight along with being a subject matter expert in graphic production, including equipment operation and maintenance. In addition to these core responsibilities, you handle department time tracking and PTO management, organize and store files, provide training, engage in continual learning and research to enhance your skills, and tackle any additional tasks assigned by the Graphics Production Manager.

Establishing a reasonable timeline for completion when no concrete date is given.
