Job summary

AMG & Associates, Inc. is seeking a creative Graphics Designer to join as a full-time contractor. You will develop digital and print designs, maintain brand consistency, and support marketing with versatile assets for campaigns and internal communications.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s in graphic design or related field, a strong portfolio, and 1–3 years of experience using Adobe Creative Cloud. Remote or hybrid work arrangements may be available depending on organizational needs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Digital Media, Fine Arts, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in graphic design, visual communications, marketing design, or related field.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity, design fundamentals, and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud applications, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Familiarity with Figma, Canva, or other digital design and collaboration tools is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of typography, color, layout, composition, and visual hierarchy.
  • Excellent creative, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret briefs and translate ideas into designs.
  • Ability to accept feedback and revise efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Create digital graphics, marketing materials, presentations, social media content, and other visual assets.
  • Develop creative design concepts and layouts based on project requirements and brand guidelines.
  • Design materials for digital platforms, print publications, presentations, advertisements, and internal communications.
  • Apply typography, color theory, composition, spacing, and visual hierarchy to designs.
  • Edit and enhance photographs, illustrations, icons, and other visual elements.
  • Collaborate with marketing, communications, product, and internal teams to understand design requirements.
  • Work with senior designers and creative team members to develop effective visual solutions.
  • Review and revise designs based on stakeholder feedback and project requirements.
  • Ensure all completed designs meet quality, branding, and formatting standards.
  • Maintain consistency across company branding, marketing materials, and digital communications.
  • Prepare and organize final design files for digital and print production.
  • Maintain an organized library of design assets, templates, fonts, images, and source files.
  • Manage multiple design projects while prioritizing deadlines and changing requirements.
  • Assist with development of presentations, promotional materials, web graphics, and other content.
  • Stay informed about current design trends, tools, technologies, and best practices.
  • Support the creative team with design research, brainstorming, and concept development.
  • Contribute to improvements in design workflows, templates, and creative processes.

Compensation & Contract Benefits:
  • Annual Contract Rate: $60,000 – $80,000 per year, commensurate with experience, qualifications, and scope of responsibility.
  • Schedule: Full-time, approximately 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
  • Contract Duration: Initial contract assignment with potential for extension or renewal based on business needs and performance.
