Leidos is seeking a Graphics Artist, Journeyman to support USCYBERCOM and allied customers with high-quality visual content. You will design materials using Microsoft 365 and Adobe Creative Suite, ensure branding standards, and translate complex information into clear graphics.

A TS/SCI with polygraph is required; associate degree or higher in Graphic Design or related field; 3–5+ years in graphic design; strong portfolio; familiarity with DoD briefing environments; teamwork and meeting tight

  • Associate’s degree or higher in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Multimedia Arts, or related field.
  • 3–5+ years’ experience in graphic design in a professional environment, with preference for DoD/IC experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of graphic design skills, especially in presentation graphics and executive-level content.
  • Knowledge of computer networking fundamentals and communications media.
  • Understanding of formatting for classified and unclassified briefing environments.
  • Strong attention to detail, branding compliance, and high visual standards.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to receive and apply feedback.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Provide timely, accurate graphics support for analytical production, including documents, summaries, issue papers, talking points, and briefings.
  • Design and produce high-quality graphic content using Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Develop visual concepts from start to finish with creativity and precision, adhering to branding standards.
  • Collaborate with technical SMEs and leaders to translate complex information into clear visuals.
  • Provide expert recommendations on visual communication strategies to end users.
  • Format and revise subject matter for effective graphic presentation, including layout and delivery.
  • Create materials for internal and external communications, including documents, infographics, presentations, and web assets.
  • Contribute to development of analytic standards and best practices, improving methodologies and products.
  • Ensure compliance with DoD and USCYBERCOM policies and frameworks.

  • Provide timely, accurate, relevant support in manner that best supports USCYBERCOM as graphics artist supporting multiple customers across the USCYERCOM J3, Cyber National Mission Force (CNMF), and Joint Task Force-ARES (JTF-ARES).
  • Design and produce high-quality graphic content using Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite products.
  • Develop visual concepts from start to finish with creativity and precision, while adhering to USCYBERCOM branding and presentation standards.
  • Collaborate with technical SMEs and leaders to transform complex information into clean, engaging visual content.
  • Provide expert recommendations and feedback on visual communication strategies to end users.
  • Format and revise subject matter for effective graphic presentation, including the selection of visual elements, layout design, and delivery formatting.
  • Design materials for internal and external communications, including documents, infographics, presentations, and web-based assets.
  • Contribute to the development of analytic standards and best practices, continuously improving methodologies and products.
  • Ensure compliance with DoD and USCYBERCOM policies, regulations, and frameworks, and interpret and apply laws, regulations, and any other applicable guidance relevant to daily activities.
  • Communicate complex information, concepts, or ideas in a confident and well-organized manner through verbal, written, and/or visual means.
What does Leidos need from me?
  • Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) security clearance with Polygraph, upon Application, to be consideration for this position.
  • Associate’s degree or higher in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Multimedia Arts, or related field. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Three to Five plus years’ experience in graphic design within a professional environment, with preference for previous experience supporting DoD or Intelligence Community (IC) organizations.
  • Ability to provide support timely, accurate, relevant graphics artist support to analytical production, to include documents, summaries, issue papers, talking points, and briefings.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of graphic design skills, especially in presentation graphics and executive-level content.
  • Knowledge of computer networking fundamentals as well as concepts, terminology, and operations of a wide range of communications media (computer and telephone networks, satellite, fiber, wireless).
  • Demonstrated understanding of formatting for classified and unclassified briefing environments.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to follow branding guidelines, and commitment to high visual standards.
  • Display excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to receive and apply feedback effectively.
  • Demonstrated proficiency working in a fast-paced collaborative environment, ability to proactively multi-task and meet short deadlines.
Favorable If You Have
  • Bachelors’ degree or higher within field of Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Multimedia Arts, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with USCYBERCOM organizational structure and mission.
  • Experience designing for executive-level or military audiences.
  • Prior experience providing graphic design support to Joint operations across multiple warfighting domains.
  • Demonstrated understanding of DoD and IC collaboration and graphics design best practices.
  • Desired Certifications: DoD 8570 IAT Level II (CCNA Security, COMPTIA CySA+, COMPTIA Security + CE, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP).

Pay Range

Pay Range $65,650.00 - $118,675.00
