Responsibilities

• Design and create men's knitwear and graphics.
• Prepare layouts or mock-ups using illustration, text, photography, color, and CGI.
• Communicate with design and sales about color and direction.
• Research seasonal graphic trends and apply to illustrations in Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Prepare graphics for production including recoloring and technique.
• Revise graphics based on feedback from sales and design.
• Review all technical sketches and original artworks before final production.
• Prepare artwork for production.
• Execute vision on CAD presentations.

The ideal candidate is a highly creative Men's Designer with great sense of style for a men's knitwear.You will play a key role in developing graphics for mens sweaters. We are looking for team player who will be able to work both independently and collaboratively. This role is based in NY offering a hybrid schedule.

Job description:

• Design and create men's knitwear and graphics
• Prepare layouts or mock-ups of a design using illustration, text, photography, color, and computer-generated imagery
• Communicate with design and sales about color assortment and design direction.
• Research seasonal graphic trends and apply to illustrations in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Prepare graphic for production including repeat recoloring and technique.
• Revise any graphics as needed based on feedback from sales and design.
• Review all technical sketches and original artworks prior to submitting for final production
• Prepare Artwork for Production
• Execute vision on CAD presentations

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3 + years of experience in design and graphic fashion design
• Must have 2 plus year in licensing
• Bachelor’s Degree in related field
• Prior experience in mens knitwear
• Strong sense of design, and color
• Highly motivated, passionate about fashion, and has a commercial eye for detail
• Experience with licensed brands and interpreting brand style guides for product extensions
• Expert level Adobe Creative Suite skills required
• Strong creativity, conceptualization, execution, organization and design skills
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to problem solve
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to strategize and prioritize team workloads to ensure competing deliverables are met according to the seasonal calendar
