Job summary

Sassy Woof in Sterling, VA is seeking a Graphic Designer and Content Creator to craft engaging visuals and social media content for dog lovers. This full-time, onsite role offers hands-on experience with a fast-growing pet lifestyle brand and opportunities to build a compelling portfolio.

You'll design graphics for launches, campaigns, emails, and digital ads, film short videos, and collaborate with marketing to grow our online presence. 40 hours/week, $24–$30/hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• Graduated with a degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Digital Media, or a related field.
• Passion for social media and content creation.
• Comfortable appearing on camera and filming content.
• Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and emerging platforms.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Brainstorm and pitch creative social media content ideas.
• Create short-form video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other social platforms.
• Design engaging graphics and visual assets for social media, email marketing, website content, digital advertising, and promotional campaigns.
• Create on-brand graphics for product launches, seasonal collections, collaborations, giveaways, and events.
• Assist with the development of marketing materials such as digital banners, promotional graphics, flyers, signage, and other branded collateral.
• Work within Sassy Woof’s existing brand guidelines while bringing fresh, creative design ideas to the team.
• Assist with basic photo editing, retouching, cropping, and product image preparation as needed.
• Assist with filming behind-the-scenes content, product launches, and events.
• Stay on top of current social media, graphic design, and visual content trends.
• Monitor engagement and help identify opportunities to grow our online community.
• Collaborate with the marketing team on campaigns, launches, promotions, and creative concepts.
• Assist with photoshoots, community events, and product launches.

Position Overview

As our Graphic Designer and Content Creator, you'll help create engaging content across our social media platforms while gaining hands-on experience working with a fast growing pet lifestyle brand. What We're Looking For

• Graduated with a degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Digital Media, or a related field.
• Passion for social media and content creation.

• Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and emerging social platforms.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects.
• Creative thinker who isn't afraid to pitch new ideas.
• Experience with Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar editing tools is a plus.
• Photography and videography experience is a bonus.
• Love for dogs and/or cats is highly encouraged!

• Understand current TikTok and Instagram trends.
• Have basic knowledge of social media analytics.
• Enjoy keeping up with internet culture and viral content.
• Possess knowledge of entertainment, movies, pop culture, and major licensed franchises
