Witherite Law Group is seeking a Graphic Designer and Animator to join CRASH Productions, our fast-paced in-house media team in Chicago, IL. You will create visual reconstructions of car wrecks and medical procedures, translating reports and notes into compelling courtroom visuals.

The role emphasizes storytelling through design, accuracy, and timeliness, with access to Adobe Creative Cloud and 3D software. Strong communication and deadline discipline are essential.

Salary Range: $65,000.00 To $75,000.00 Annually

Position Summary :CRASH Productions is a fast-paced and forward-thinking in-house media team for Witherite Law Group that leverages the latest technology to support our attorneys and their clients. We specialize in creating compelling courtroom visuals including graphics, 3D reconstructions of vehicle wrecks, and detailed surgical animations, to support litigation and mediation. We are seeking a detail-oriented, resourceful graphic designer and animator to assist in creating visually accurate and persuasive deliverables. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for storytelling through design and a strong ability to interpret incomplete or technical data to build realistic, informative scenes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create 3D reconstructions of car wrecks and medical procedures using software like Blender, Virtual Crash 6, or similar.
• Interpret police reports, medical records, diagrams, depositions, witness statements, and expert notes to accurately visualize events.
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and experts to ensure accuracy and clarity in animations.
• Use Adobe Creative Cloud to enhance visual outputs when needed.
• Organize and compile information from multiple sources to form a clear, logical narrative.
• Incorporate feedback quickly and refine animations in a timely and professional manner.
• Work independently while communicating progress and challenges proactively.

Ideal Candidate Qualities:

• Proficiency in Blender or comparable 3D animation software.
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud (especially After Effects, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro).
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills and the ability to draw logical conclusions from limited or complex data.
• Acute attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work efficiently under deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Open to constructive critique and motivated to refine work based on attorney and client feedback.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background or coursework in animation and visual effects.
• Experience with simulation software or physics engines is a plus.
• Experience with Unity is a plus.
• Familiarity with both iOS and Windows environments.

Physical Requirements:

• Office environment with normal business hours necessary to satisfactorily perform job functions.
• Stationary Position – Must be able to remain in a stationary position up to 50% of the time.
• Move or Traverse – This position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, meeting rooms, office machinery, etc.May occasionally ascends/descends the stairs to get to other floors, cafeteria and parking area.
