This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Graphic Designer based in the United States. We are seeking a versatile and experienced Graphic Designer to create impactful visual communications supporting healthcare, public health, marketing, and organizational initiatives. In this part-time contract role, you will transform complex information, data, and strategic concepts into clear, engaging, and visually compelling materials for diverse audiences. You will develop a wide range of creative assets, from executive presentations and branded marketing materials to social media graphics, website visuals, event collateral, and short-form videos. Working closely with leadership, marketing professionals, and multidisciplinary teams, you will help maintain a consistent visual identity while adapting creative content to different platforms and audiences. Your work will play an important role in communicating public health information accurately, accessibly, and with cultural sensitivity. This remote opportunity is ideal for a creative, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, manages shifting priorities effectively, and is passionate about using design to communicate meaningful ideas and advance health equity.

Accountabilities
  • Design executive presentations: Create polished, brand-aligned presentations for leadership communications, organizational initiatives, conferences, program updates, and external engagements.
  • Translate complex information into visual stories: Collaborate with executives and subject matter experts to identify key messages and transform technical content, strategic concepts, and data into compelling visual narratives.
  • Develop data visualizations: Design charts, diagrams, infographics, timelines, process graphics, tables, and maps that improve understanding while preserving the accuracy and integrity of information.
  • Improve presentation quality: Refine existing presentations through stronger storytelling, layout, typography, visual hierarchy, data visualization, and consistent brand application.
  • Create reusable templates: Develop presentation and design templates that help teams produce materials efficiently while maintaining visual consistency and brand standards.
  • Produce marketing and brand assets: Create high-quality creative materials for print, digital platforms, social media, websites, events, organizational communications, thought leadership, and program initiatives.
  • Maintain brand consistency: Apply established visual identity guidelines across different audiences, programs, regions, and communication channels while adapting creative assets to specific needs.
  • Support visual identity development: Contribute to the development of logos and visual identities for new programs, initiatives, and projects while ensuring alignment with the overarching brand.
  • Design digital and social media content: Produce engaging graphics for LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and other digital channels to communicate health information, organizational news, awareness campaigns, leadership perspectives, and program updates.
  • Create website and campaign visuals: Develop website graphics, banners, campaign imagery, and other digital assets in collaboration with marketing and communications stakeholders.
  • Produce video and multimedia content: Edit footage, incorporate typography and graphics, create simple motion graphics, and prepare short-form videos for social media, presentations, events, and digital storytelling.
  • Communicate public health information effectively: Design accessible and understandable visual materials that communicate complex healthcare and public health topics without oversimplifying or distorting their meaning.
  • Apply inclusive design principles: Consider health literacy, accessibility, readability, cultural responsiveness, and audience diversity. Represent individuals and communities with dignity while avoiding stigmatizing or stereotypical imagery.
  • Develop event and print materials: Design conference graphics, community outreach materials, signage, banners, handouts, brochures, rack cards, display graphics, and other branded collateral.
  • Prepare production-ready deliverables: Ensure print and digital files meet technical specifications, including bleed, resolution, color modes, sizing, formatting, and vendor requirements.
  • Review and quality-check assets: Inspect proofs and final deliverables to identify design inconsistencies, formatting errors, and production issues before publication or distribution.
  • Coordinate projects and stakeholders: Work closely with marketing, communications, executive leadership, program, operations, clinical, and public health teams to clarify objectives and deliver effective creative solutions.
  • Manage deadlines and changing priorities: Respond efficiently to urgent requests, shifting project requirements, and time-sensitive organizational needs while maintaining quality and attention to detail.
  • Maintain organized design files: Deliver well-structured source files, consistent naming conventions, and version-controlled assets to support collaboration and future updates.
  • Communicate project progress: Provide proactive updates on timelines, dependencies, deliverables, and potential delays, incorporating stakeholder feedback and managing multiple revision rounds as needed.
Requirements
