CPG Agency in St. Louis is seeking a Graphic Designer to create print and digital collateral that elevates our award-winning brand.

You’ll manage the design process from ideation through production under the Director of Creative Services. You’ll collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Account, and Experience teams to deliver cost-effective, on-brand visuals and proposals that help win new business and strengthen client relationships.

General Description

As a Graphic Designer, you’ll create compelling collateral, both print and digital, that elevates CPG’s design deliverables. The Graphic Designer is responsible for the quality and execution of visual creative solutions. Under the direction of the Director of Creative Services-Business Operations Manager, the Graphic Designer executes the design process, ideation, and production of content to meet or exceed client expectations. They also contribute to the pursuit and winning of new (and repeat) business through proposal design.

Creativity and initiative are keys to success in this role. Superb communication and collaboration skills are required, as the Graphic Designer works with the Sales/Marketing, Account, and Experience teams to understand assignments and develop dynamic, cost-effective solutions.

This position is part of the Creative Team and reports to the Director of Creative Services-Business Operations Manager. This position does not have any direct reports.

Job Responsibilities
Strategic Creative Development
  • Work collaboratively with the Creative Team to conceptualize and execute visual solutions that effectively communicate objectives for client accounts.
  • Design and produce a wide range of materials to meet internal and external client objectives, including custom proposals, brand logos, themed event graphics, presentation support (Keynote and PowerPoint), digital design, campaigns, and various print pieces.
  • Collaborate with Sr. Experience Designers and Sr. Creative Strategists to ensure CPG provides a superior visual creative product that stays on strategy.
  • Contribute to improving the overall quality of the agency’s visual portfolio, measured by internal and external client satisfaction.
Proposal Development
  • Actively participate in the proposal development process to help drive agency win rates.
  • Design and produce visual layouts for client proposals.
Ideation & Brainstorming
  • Participate in team brainstorming and creative sessions.
  • Contribute to visual innovation and creative excellence at CPG by executing fresh visual concepts.
  • Remain a student of design, keeping up with industry trends and developments.
Quality Assurance
  • Review own design deliverables for quality, brand consistency, and accuracy prior to client or producer delivery.

Physical Requirements And Working Conditions
  • Sedentary & Computer Work: Prolonged periods sitting or standing at a desk, operating computer monitors, keyboards, mice, and digital drawing tablets (8+ hours daily).
  • Fine Motor Skills: High degree of manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for detailed artwork creation, digital manipulation, and layout execution.
  • Prototyping & Handling: Occasional light lifting (up to 20 lbs) when moving paper stock, client pitch decks, event graphics, sample kits, or display boards.
Work Environment & Travel
  • Fast-paced agency office environment. Occasional standing, reaching, or walking required during client presentations or on-site event execution support.
  • Flexible scheduling required during crunch periods to hit major deadlines.
