Job summary

YinzCam, Inc. is seeking a graphic designer who loves sports to craft high-fidelity, sports-centric graphics for our mobile apps.

You will leverage Figma with 3+ years of experience, build mobile UI/UX for sports, and contribute to game-day visuals and campaigns. This in-office role is based in Pittsburgh, PA, with occasional non-traditional hours aligned to sports schedules. You will learn the YinzCam CMS and deliver multiple themed looks for clients.

Qualifications

• Must have a portfolio of sports-centric designs.
• 3+ years of experience using Figma.
• 3+ years of graphic design and mobile UI/UX experience for sports.
• Must love designing for sports milestones (Draft, free agency, kit launches).
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Willingness to work non-traditional hours including weekends/evenings/holidays.
• Degree in Graphic Design or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Notes This is a fast-paced, deadline-oriented role. This is an in-office role in Pittsburgh, PA, USA.

THE ROLE

We are looking for a sports-minded Graphic Designer who has a passion for graphic design, user-centered design, typography, and visual storytelling for sports.

You Will Be Responsible For

• Delivering high-fidelity sports-centric graphic designs for mobile apps to our sports clients.
• Using the YinzCam Content Management System (CMS) to support all of our clients.
• Learning the YinzCam platform and features, quickly and independently, to become a subject-matter expert.
• Creating multiple mobile "looks" for our clients, including themed-game looks, game-day looks, non-gameday looks, Draft Day looks, Championship looks, kit-launch looks, etc.

The Requirements

• A portfolio of sports-centric designs is a must.
• 3+ years of experience using Figma.
• 3+ years of experience in graphic design and mobile UI/UX, particularly for sports.
• Love of designing for sports, including the key milestones in sports, e.g., Draft, free agency, kit launch.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English, including attention to detail, in terms of grammar, spelling, punctuation, vocabulary, and formatting.
• Willingness and ability to work the non-traditional hours of the sports industry, including weekends, evenings and holidays (when sports teams have their games scheduled), as needed.
• Degree in Graphic Design, or equivalent.
