Job summary

7Seventy designs and translates complex, technical information into clear visuals for federal clients. You will create infographics, presentations, brochures, and social graphics across print, digital, web, and signage while maintaining brand consistency.

You'll use Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop, ensure Section 508 compliance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver client-ready materials within deadlines. A portfolio and US work authorization are required.

Qualifications

  • 4 years of professional graphic design experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Communications, or related field.
  • Portfolio of work samples required.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) or equivalent.
  • Understanding of Section 508 accessibility guidelines.

Design focus

You’ll create visual communications for federal clients, translating complex, technical, or sensitive information into clear, accessible, and brand-consistent materials for print, digital, web, and social media channels.

What you’ll create
  • Design infographics, presentations, publications, brochures, fact sheets, posters, social media graphics, digital signage, and other outreach materials.
  • Translate complex information into clear and visually engaging content for diverse audiences.
  • Create and refine designs using Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and other industry-standard tools.
  • Maintain visual and brand consistency across deliverables.
  • Ensure designed materials meet Section 508 accessibility requirements.
  • Remediate accessibility issues when needed.
  • Incorporate client and stakeholder feedback into final designs.
  • Support additional creative work such as event materials, exhibit graphics, motion graphics, video, and digital asset management when assigned.
Project and client work
  • Collaborate with communications, program, and technical teams to gather requirements and creative direction.
  • Translate key messages into finished visual products.
  • Prepare client-ready materials for stakeholders and leadership.
  • Manage multiple projects and competing deadlines simultaneously.
  • Deliver revisions and final materials within established timelines.
Required qualifications
  • 4 years of professional graphic design experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Communications, or a related field.
  • Portfolio of work samples required.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop, or equivalent design software.
  • Understanding of Section 508 accessibility guidelines and standards.
  • Experience translating complex information into clear visual communications.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and tight deadlines.
  • Experience supporting complex federal government projects.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance or higher clearance when required.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.
