Job summary

The Clear Publishing, a division of Al-Furqaan Foundation, seeks an experienced Graphic Designer with advanced InDesign skills and a strong eye for professional design to join our on-site team in Kentucky.

This full-time, in-person role focuses on designing and formatting books, educational materials, and other publications from concept through print-ready final files, in collaboration with publishing and marketing teams.

Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign is required.
• Strong professional graphic design and layout skills.
• Experience designing books or multi-page print projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and format books, educational materials, workbooks, brochures, catalogs, and other publications.
• Create professional page layouts using Adobe InDesign.
• Develop attractive, clean, and consistent designs aligned with established brand standards.
• Prepare files for commercial printing and digital distribution.
• Work with text-heavy and multi-page documents while maintaining strong typography and visual consistency.
• Create supporting graphics and edit images using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Review files carefully for layout, spacing, alignment, image quality, bleeds, margins, and other production requirements.
• Manage multiple design projects and meet deadlines.
• Collaborate with publishing, marketing, and other internal teams.

Graphic Designer – InDesign & Publication Design
The Clear Publishing, a division of Al-Furqaan Foundation, is seeking an experienced Graphic Designer with advanced Adobe InDesign skills and a strong eye for professional design.

This is afull-time, in-personposition for a designer with serious hands-on experience creating and formatting books, publications, and print materials. The ideal candidate can take a project from concept through a polished, print-ready final product.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and format books, educational materials, workbooks, brochures, flyers, catalogs, and other publications
• Create professional page layouts using Adobe InDesign
• Develop attractive, clean, and consistent designs aligned with established brand standards
• Prepare files for commercial printing and digital distribution
• Work with text-heavy and multi-page documents while maintaining strong typography and visual consistency
• Create supporting graphics and edit images using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Review files carefully for layout, spacing, alignment, image quality, bleeds, margins, and other production requirements
• Manage multiple design projects and meet deadlines
• Collaborate with publishing, marketing, and other internal teams

Required Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign is required
• Strong professional graphic design and layout skills
• Demonstrated experience designing books, publications, or other multi-page print projects
• Strong understanding of typography, grids, paragraph and character styles, master pages, image placement, and print production
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Ability to prepare accurate print-ready files
• Strong attention to detail and consistency
• Ability to work independently and manage projects from initial concept through final production
• Must be available to work full-time and in person
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United StatesImportant

This is not an entry-level graphic design position. We are specifically looking for candidates with substantial Adobe InDesign and publication design experience.

Applicants must submit a portfolio demonstrating InDesign-based work, preferably including books, magazines, catalogs, educational materials, or other multi-page publications.
