Job summary

Ellet Sign Company in Akron, OH is seeking an experienced Graphic Designer with real-world sign industry experience. This in-office role focuses on creating and producing signs for various products, including large-format graphics and ADA signs.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of graphic design, strong attention to detail, and ability to manage deadlines. Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm; no remote work; drug-free workplace; wage $18.00–$23.00 hourly.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of graphic design experience, preferably in sign or related industry.
• Design production-ready artwork for signs using Illustrator, Photoshop or Corel Draw.
• Prepare submittal packages to send to contractors.
• Operate large-format printers when required and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Create signage artwork for ADA signs, window graphics, and monument signage.
• Prepare and submit jobs to contractors with accurate specs.
• Assist with large-format printing when needed and ensure quality.
• Communicate effectively and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines.

Ellet Sign Company is looking to hire an experienced Graphic Designer with real-world sign industry experience of commercial electrical and non-electrical signage. We work with large format production, fabrication, and installation.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Two or more years of graphic design experience- preferred sign or related industry.
• Design production-ready artwork using Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Corel Draw will work to produce signs for a variety of products including ADA signs, Window Graphics, Wall Murals, Dimensional lettering, Vinyl lettering, freestanding monument signage, interior/exterior building signage
• Prepare submittal packages to send to contractors
• Help operate large-format printers when required
• Excellent communication and listening skills
• Ability to take direction and constructive feedback professionally
• Strong attention to detail and proofreading skills
• Ability to manage deadlines and multitask effectively
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Reliable attendance and stable work history
• Excellent organization and time management

This is an employee position working in our office — not contract work and not remote. Wage is based on experience ($18.00 - $23.00). We are a zero-tolerance drug free workplace. Must pass pre-employment and random testing.

Monday thru Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm with half hour lunch
