Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Design, layout, and produce materials for digital and print use, including infographics, brochures, charts and diagrams, reports, web images, videos, and PowerPoint presentations.
  • Develop and integrate graphics into reports and other publications with a focus on responsiveness, timeliness, and accuracy.
  • Stay current on visual communications and graphic design trends.
  • Partner with planners to understand needs and priorities for deliverables.
  • Follow applicable visual branding and standards.
  • Perform photo shoots related to planning topics, meetings, and public events.
  • Design web pages for CCPC websites.
  • Manage multiple projects at once while working independently and leading projects as needed.
  • Attend meetings and handle delicate projects when a supervisor is absent.
  • Support administrative tasks such as contacting vendors for project information, following up on vendor questions, and preparing customer copies of maps using a large copy machine.
  • Complete other duties, tasks, and special projects as required.

Job description

Westtown, PA (onsite) offers a hands‑on graphic design role with the Chester County Planning Commission and County Commissioners. As a Graphic Design Specialist II, you will create clear, branded visuals for print and digital platforms, using desktop publishing and design tools to support planning communications. This position is paid $23 per hour and includes work that spans documents, brochures, posters, maps, presentations, and web page layouts.
