Job summary

AFL invites a Graphic Design Intern for Spring 2027 to assist with a broad range of marketing projects across lines of business. You will learn from industry-leading creatives and gain hands-on experience while applying your education to real-world campaigns.

Responsibilities include updating data sheets, brochures, and catalogs, designing community and PR materials, and supporting the marketing team with design solutions. Applicants must be students at a four-year college with a GPA ≥ 2.75.

Qualifications

• Must be a current four-year college student with a minimum 2.75 GPA.
• Experience creating graphics using design tools.
• Working knowledge of digital file preparation for print media.
• Computer illustration, photography and photo retouching a plus.
• Creative graphical capabilities and strong Adobe Creative Suite skills.
• Web design experience is a plus.
• Ability to complete a project from start to finish on time.
• Strong team player within the Marketing Communications group.

Responsibilities

• Executing changes and updates to data sheets, brochures, programs, catalogs and product profiles.
• Designing and preparing community and PR projects (flyers, posters, logos, etc.)
• Supporting the marketing department on a wide variety of projects through design solutions.
