Job description

Support the Corporation for Findlay Market by designing promotional and digital assets across print, web, social, and merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Assist with special event promotions and programs collateral
• Create market signage, banners, and decals to support wayfinding
• Handle printing in-house or with the MakerSpace (Cincinnati Public Library Card required)
• Assist with regular Findlay Market and Findlay Market Shopping App email newsletters
• Collaborate with the Marketing team to produce social media graphics
• Support management of Findlay Market and program websites, including digital/web-safe graphics and formatting webpage layouts
• Capture and edit photos of market activities to support ongoing graphic and content needs
• Assist with design and ordering of Findlay Market merchandise
• Support special events, surveys, program execution, market customer service, and other organizational needs as assigned

Requirements

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Photoshop
• Professional, accountable approach to work with ownership of deliverables
• Demonstrated ability to work in a proactively diverse and inclusive organization
• Ability to manage multiple design projects at once, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent interpersonal skills plus strong verbal and written communication
• Effective problem-solving and mediation skills
• Ability to share skills and knowledge with others
• Proficiency with required office computer equipment and software
• Continual on-the-job learning is required
• Website management experience (Squarespace knowledge is a plus)
• Experience with social media and traditional media platforms
• Proficiency with photography and editing
• Ability to work some evening, weekend, and non-traditional hours
• Bring your own computer/laptop with the appropriate Adobe programs (CFFM does not provide)
• Reliable transportation required to pick up print materials and travel to the library for Makerspace use
• MakerSpace access requires a Cincinnati Public Library Card
