Job summary

Einstein is seeking a part-time Graphic Designer to create print and digital materials in alignment with brand guidelines. You will design brochures, invitations, reports, posters, and social assets, while collaborating with the Director of Creative Services and Project Manager.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Graphic Design with 2+ years of experience, strong typography, and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and Microsoft Office on Mac.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or related field with at least 2 years experience as a graphic designer with print and digital design experience
• Appropriate combination of relevant experience and education may be considered
• Strong knowledge of graphic design fundamentals and awareness of current trends in graphic design
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
• Ability to work on Mac platform
• Familiarity with Canva and Dropbox
• Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
• Highly collaborative and excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong written and oral communications skills
• Ability to maintain composure and work effectively in a fast-paced work environment

Responsibilities

• Professionally and collegially work and communicate with clients and colleagues
• Prepare final files for both digital and print production
• Coordinate effectively with print vendors to execute final deliverables
• Accurately and effectively track time in timekeeping system

This is a part-time position requiring 15 hours per week, typically worked in 7.5-hour shifts. Candidates must be available to meet this scheduling requirement.

Additional Information

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the hourly rates for this are listed below. This rate is based on the 1199 bargaining unit contract.

• Job Rate $41.53
• Minimum Salary Range USD $39.34/Hr.
