Job summary

Voreas Laboratories Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Platform, to own the graph serving layer and related data pipelines in a cloud-native environment.

The role emphasizes building, evaluating, and operating the graph store and supporting services on the existing EKS-based platform. You will design scalable pipelines, ensure data freshness as new findings land, and collaborate with security researchers and product teams.

Qualifications

• Has operated a stateful data store in production with sizing, upgrades, and restores performed personally.
• Backend service and API development experience.
• Spark and lake table experience to build data pipelines for the serving layer.
• Knowledge of query performance, indexing, and slow-query tuning.
• Experience across CI/CD, infrastructure as code, distributed data processing, container orchestration, a data lake on an open table format, and Python.
• U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the graph serving layer and the data pipeline that keeps it current.
• Evaluate and select a graph store based on access patterns and performance needs.
• Develop the query and access layer for analysts and downstream products.
• Own platform footprint: Crossplane compositions, Argo CD apps, deployments, and monitoring for graph services.
