Job summary

Pittsburgh Tomorrow is seeking a Graph Database Specialist in Pittsburgh, onsite, to define and implement ontology and knowledge-graph solutions for complex enterprise data. The role emphasizes hands-on design, development, and collaboration with data teams and business stakeholders.

You will integrate structured and unstructured data, work with RDF/SPARQL and Graph DB technologies, and potentially lead Data Ontology initiatives across multiple projects with Architectural guidance.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in Data Ontology, Knowledge Graphs and semantic data modeling.
• Hands-on experience with Graph Database technologies and building/querying enterprise Knowledge Graph solutions, RDF/SPARQL desirable.
• Experience with Siemens Graph Studio (Anzo) including ontology/knowledge-graph solutions on the platform preferred.
• Ability to integrate structured and unstructured data from multiple enterprise sources into an ontology/knowledge-graph model.
• Lead/support Data Ontology and GraphDB initiatives across multiple projects.

• Strong hands-on experience in Data Ontology, Knowledge Graphs and semantic data modeling, including defining entities, relationships, taxonomies and domain models for complex enterprise data.
• Hands-on experience with Graph Database technologies and building/querying enterprise Knowledge Graph solutions; experience with RDF/SPARQL and related semantic technologies is highly desirable.
• Experience with Siemens Graph Studio (formerly Anzo) is strongly preferred, including developing or supporting ontology/knowledge-graph solutions on the platform.
• Ability to integrate structured and unstructured data from multiple enterprise sources into an ontology/knowledge-graph model and establish meaningful relationships across disparate datasets.
• Strong technical background with the ability to be hands-on with solution design, development, troubleshooting and implementation, while also working with architects, data teams and business stakeholders to translate business concepts into semantic models.
• Looking for an experienced candidate, preferably, who can independently lead/support Data Ontology and GraphDB initiatives across multiple projects.
