Job summary

Arango is hiring a Customer Solution Architect to serve as the primary professional services liaison between Arango and customers deploying the AI product suite. You will own the technical relationship end to end—from discovery to production and expansion—and translate customer problems into working GraphRAG and knowledge-graph architectures on Arango's multi-model platform.

Qualifications

• Deep graph knowledge including data modeling and graph query design for AI-enabled retrieval.
• 3+ years in software eng, solution architecture, or technical services.
• Strong applied AI and Python skills, with solid systems design fundamentals.
• Strong databases across graph, NoSQL, key-value and document models. Multi-model experience valued.
• Hands-on experience with modern LLMs and tooling.
• Experience with vector databases and hybrid retrieval approaches.
• Cloud and container proficiency; IaC and CI/CD practices.
• Excellent customer-facing communication for executive and engineering audiences.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical customer relationship across lifecycle: discovery, design, pilot, production, expansion.
• Run discovery with sponsors to identify high-value use cases and map to business outcomes.
• Design architectures on Arango's multi-model platform and GraphRAG retrieval for AI use cases.
• Define success criteria, SLAs/SLOs, data access, governance, and phased delivery plans.
• Build reference implementations and prototypes including graphs, data connectors, and pipelines.
• Guide production deployment with CI/CD, IaC, and testing in collaboration with customer engineers.
• Architect retrieval across graph traversal, vector search, and hybrid methods.
• Develop data pipelines, metadata governance, monitoring, and alerting for quality and cost.
