Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking a warehouse associate in Delano, CA to keep packing lines running by moving raw product, packaging materials, totes, empty pallets, and finished goods. The role requires physical, safety-conscious work in a fast-paced setting with exposure to cold storage and outdoor conditions.

You will load/unload trucks, transport totes, and feed wrapper machines, ensuring smooth line operations and proper material flow throughout shifts from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months forklift experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work safely around pedestrians, box stackers, and tight equipment lines.
• Experience operating double sit-down propane and electric forklifts.

Responsibilities

• Move raw product, packaging materials, totes, empty pallets, and finished goods to keep packing lines running smoothly.
• Supply lines by transferring materials from cold storage to line feeders and feeding wrapper machines.
• Safely load/unload curtain-side and other delivery trucks; transport totes and stack pallets in high-traffic areas.

Equipment Used: Double/Single Electric & Propane Sit-Down Forklifts

Role Overview

Responsible for keeping the packing lines running continuously by moving raw product, packaging materials, totes, empty pallets, and finished goods.

Key Assignments & Responsibilities

Packaging & Box Feeding: Move empty pallets and supply box materials to box-making machines; stack and move wrapped empty box pallets (Indoor/Outdoor).

Line Supply: Bring raw product out of cold storage to line feeders; pick up finished pallets from conveyors to feed wrapper machines and precoolers.

Material & Curtain Truck Handling: Safely load/unload specialized delivery trucks (including curtain-side trucks requiring precision clearance).

Pallet & Tote Logistics: Transport washed empty totes to designated areas and safely stack empty pallets in high-traffic zones.

Requirements

Minimum 6 months of forklift experience in a fast-paced environment.

Demonstrated ability to work safely around pedestrians, box stackers, and tight equipment lines.

Experience operating double sit-down propane and electric forklifts.

Qualifications

• Successful performance on a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) Test.
