Job summary

IKO Industries Ltd. in Missouri is seeking a Project Manager Assistant to join our Bismarck Granule plant team. This temporary role (9–12 months) supports the Project Manager during construction, commissioning, and handover of the granule manufacturing facility.

You will help plan, coordinate, and execute project activities, manage schedules, and coordinate with vendors and stakeholders to ensure safety and successful startup of the plant systems.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Industrial Technology, Project Management, or related field preferred.
• 2-5 years of project coordination, commissioning, manufacturing, construction, or industrial experience preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills.
• Knowledge of MS Project or Primavera is a plus.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day management and coordination of construction activities.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, vendors, and project stakeholders.
• Track project schedules, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
• Monitor project progress, quality, costs, deficiencies, corrective actions, and contract compliance.
• Attend project meetings and document/resolving project issues.
• Support PM with procurement, forecasting, reporting, and close-out activities.
• Support pre-commissioning, commissioning, startup, and performance testing activities.
• Assist with commissioning schedules and milestone tracking.
• Coordinate commissioning activities among vendors, contractors, operations, maintenance, and consultants.
• Participate in inspections, functional testing, troubleshooting, and punch-list management.
• Prepare meeting minutes, reports, turnover packages, and testing records.
• Coordinate operational readiness and training activities.
• Promote a safe, organized, and professional construction site.
