Job summary

CareQuest Institute for Oral Health Inc. is seeking a Grants and Program Officer to coordinate and manage grantmaking activities, including implementing the current grants strategy and planning new engagement initiatives with OPEN.

You will support grantees, manage Fluxx workflow for the portfolio, contribute to measurement and impact reporting, and help design convenings and peer-learning opportunities. A Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in grants or nonprofit programs are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a related field and relevant work experience.
• 5+ years’ experience in grants or programs management in nonprofits.
• Strong organizational, written and oral communication skills, including presentations.
• Knowledge of the health care industry.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Proven problem-solving abilities and data-driven judgment.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks with tight deadlines.
• Willingness to attend required trainings.

Responsibilities

• Provide program support to CareQuest’s grantees and program partners.
• Manage a grants portfolio of community- and state-based partners.
• Assist in developing and executing annual program goals and objectives.
• Balance programmatic demands and maximize outcomes.
• Work with grantees to review and refine progress for which the grant was rewarded.
• Develop a plan for next grant and assess needs.
• Support grantees through inputting proposals into Fluxx.
• Manage Fluxx workflow for assigned portfolio.
• Serve as a thought-partner to grantees and complete regular touchpoints.
• Help design and support convenings for peer learning and connection.
• Participate in measurement, evaluation, learning, and impact dissemination.
• Other duties as needed.
