The State of Mississippi's Department of Child Protection Services is hiring an Accountant III to monitor grant financial information, including expenditures, revenue, contracts, and subgrants, across multiple programs.

You will work with program managers, balance expenditures with drawdowns, and report financials to the awarding agency. This role involves cross-training in other grant-management areas and providing support to maximize grant dollars for children and families.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree and 4-5 years of experience preferred.
• Experience in GAAP reporting and preparing journal entries.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Mansioni

• Monitor grant financial information including expenditures and revenue.
• Track contracts and subgrants and ensure compliance with policy.
• Represent finance for grants and liaise with program managers.
• Balance expenditures against drawdowns and report to the awarding agency.
