Job summary

EL DORADO COUNTY TRANSIT AUTHORITY is seeking a Fiscal & Grants Analyst to manage the grant portfolio and oversee allocations. The role focuses on ensuring reimbursements comply with grant rules and coordinating across departments for grant-supported purchases.

You will assist in audits, keep up with changing regulations, and support budgeting and planning documents to fund transit projects. Strong writing, analysis, and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to a bachelor’s degree with coursework in business-related fields.
• Two years of grant writing and grants management experience.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local grant regulations.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer the agency’s grant portfolio to ensure reimbursements meet regulations.
• Coordinate departmental purchasing in line with grant requirements.
• Assist with internal and external compliance audits and evaluations.
• Attend workshops to stay current with federal, state, and local changes.
• Assist in operating and capital budget preparation and monitoring.
• Prepare planning documents to support grant funds.
• Represent the Agency at meetings with outside agencies.
• Communicate grant information with stakeholders.
• Assist with inventory and asset tracking.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
