Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required and four years' related experience.
  • Preferred experience in non-profit development/fundraising.
  • Excellent writing skills with proposals, grants, annual reports.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong administration/coordination skills.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare fundraising materials, including writing funding proposals and donor reports.
  • Conduct prospect research for potential donors and create donor briefings.
  • Assist in donor moves management from cultivation to solicitation to stewardship.
  • Serve as liaison with President’s Office and partners on projects and meetings.
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to Executive Director of the LaGuardia Foundation.
  • Coordinate donor cultivation meetings and events, including logistics and expense reconciliation.
  • Assist in department budget oversight and HR-related functions for Development.
  • Develop and prepare Board materials and communications; agendas, reports, and presentations.
  • Provide logistical support for Board/Committee meetings and onboarding of new Directors.
  • Coordinate and schedule Board/Committee meeting calendars and communications.
  • Draft and proofread documents, minutes, proposals and reports.
  • Assist staff, Board, and speakers for meetings and events.
  • Update Board database.
