Job description

To prepare, refine, review and submit fully populated and complete sponsored research proposals for an assigned department within the School of Medicine (SOM). To review the drafts of all grant components. To work in partnership with investigators to request and procure, edit and upload other support and biosketch documents.

Prepare, refine and submit fully populated and complete sponsored research proposals for assigned faculty within the Department of Pathology as part of the School of Medicine. Create grant budgets in partnership with principal investigators. Review the drafts of all application components to ensure compliance with sponsor guidelines. Work with principal investigators to maintain, edit, and upload other support documents and biosketch documents for proposal submissions, including but not limited to Just-In-Time submissions and federal progress report submissions.

Salary Range: $43,890 - $71,320

Bachelor's degree in a related field and one (1) year of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.

Preferred:

  • Proficient with NIH's and DOD's online system for preparation, submission and tracking of grant applications.
  • Degree in Research Administration, Business Administration or equivalent
