Job description

The Southern Nevada Health District (SNHD) announces an examination process to create an eligibility list to fill one (1) vacancy for the classification of Grant Writer in the Administration Division. The eligibility list may be utilized to fill vacancies for this classification for up to four (4) months.

To identify, research, write and submit grant applications.

Note: This recruitment will close on or before the closing date listed above to external applicants (non-SNHD employees) once a sufficient number of qualified external applicants (non-SNHD employees) have been identified.

Education and Training:

• Equivalent to a bachelor's degree in public administration, business administration, statistics, grant administration, or related subject

Experience:

• Four years of experience in grant writing, business development, administrative analysis, grant administration or closely related experience

License or Certificate:

• Possession of, or ability to obtain, an appropriate, valid Nevada driver's license

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience writing government grants is preferred
• Experience uploading applications to into government portals preferred
