Job summary

A research institution located in Covington, Louisiana, is seeking a Research Proposal Development Officer to assist faculty and trainees in the preparation and submission of grant and contract proposals for biomedical research. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in science grant writing and excellent communication and organizational skills. The position demands a proactive individual who can manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Candidates with a Master's degree and three years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree and six years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree and three years of successful science grant writing experience or related experience in science communication.
• Bachelor’s Degree and six years of successful science grant writing experience or related experience in science communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist with grant and contract proposal preparation and submission.
• Identify funding opportunities and manage the proposal development process.
• Draft supporting documents and edit proposal components.
