Mykelly in Elkhart, Indiana is seeking a Gral. Utility Associate / Manufacturing Worker to support production lines, handle materials, paperwork and quality checks.

The role starts ASAP as a temp-hire with a pay rate of $18.50 per hour and a schedule from 6 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Thursday, with possible Friday overtime. You'll help with loading, staging, labeling, inventory tracking, and maintaining 6S standards while ensuring safe operations and timely shipments.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to prioritize safety and security, demonstrate energy, listen effectively, and work as part of a team.
• Strong self-awareness and willingness to support facility operations.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with plant staff to maintain a safe work environment.
• Start and operate mixers and production lines.
• Empty production lines into pallets for work-in-process (WIP) or finished goods.
• Track inventory produced during each shift.
• Monitor actual production downtime and its causes.
• Ensure the correct packaging materials are used for each product type.
• Build pallets to keep pace with production output.
• Load and unload trucks and stage products in the correct locations.
• Periodically inspect products for quality issues using visual checks or tools.
• Maintain a clean work area using the 6S process.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

About the Job

Support facility operations by supplying production lines with materials, completing paperwork, maintaining housekeeping standards, assisting with quality checks, and ensuring shipments are staged, loaded, and labeled correctly so the correct product ships on time.
