Job summary

Heritage Cooperative in Kenton, OH is seeking a full-time team member to provide excellent customer service while supporting grain handling operations. You will greet customers, process orders, maintain equipment, follow safety policies, and help ensure timely loading/unloading of trucks and railcars.

Ideal candidates are willing to work extended hours, stand for long periods, and lift up to 50 pounds. A high school diploma and valid driver's license are preferred.

• Other grain handling including but not limited to, filling /reclaiming of ground piles, transferring, etc.
• Perform critical operations to keep facility running such as loading/unloading trucks and railcars
• Other duties as assigned by your supervisor

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Willingness to work extended hours and weekends when needed
• Willingness to work various weather elements including cold, heat, wind, rain, etc
• Ability to frequently stand and/or walk for extended periods of time
• Ability to frequently lift and/or carry heavy objects no more than 50 pounds
• Outstanding Organizational and Time-Management Skills
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Respectable Mechanical Skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid Driver's License, with acceptable driving record
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Previous Grain Experience
