Job summary

H2ajobs is seeking workers to receive grain at the elevator, prepare scale tickets, monitor moisture and grade standards, and transfer grain to storage and truck bins. Role includes loading non-CDL farm trucks with products and moving grain within the facility. Must be able to climb a 180′ grain leg and lift up to 100 lb.

Housing and meals are typically provided on-site. Experience required is at least 2 months in grain handling or similar labor, with a valid driver’s license or ability to

Qualifications

• 2 months experience in grain handling or similar manual work.
• Driver's license or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Able to climb 180 ft vertical grain leg.
• Able to lift 100 pounds as required.

Responsibilities

• Receive grain at elevator and prepare scale tickets.
• Monitor to ensure moisture and grade standards are met.
• Transfer grain to proper storage locations and to truck bins for shipment.
• Shovel grain to remove blockages that machines cannot clear.
• Perform housekeeping and minor repairs to keep storage areas safe.
