Job summary

Eurofins Grain Inspection in Council Bluffs is seeking a Grain Inspector to test and grade grain, ensuring moisture, weight and quality standards are met. You will record results for drivers and farmers, maintain smooth lab operations, and serve as a trusted liaison between Eurofins, farmers and grain companies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 0–3 years in related role is a plus.
• Proficient with Excel and Outlook; willing to learn new systems.
• Safety-conscious approach to lab work and grain handling.

Responsibilities

• Test and grade grain samples for moisture, weight, foreign material, mycotoxins, and more.
• Accurately record and communicate results to drivers, merchandisers and farmers.
• Maintain sample flow through the lab and support grain operations.
• Act as backup sampler/prober and manage related paperwork.
• Serve as liaison between Eurofins, farmers and grain companies.
• Keep the lab clean, safe, and compliant with health, safety and environmental guidelines.
• Stay up to date on USDA grain standards.
• Contribute to a collaborative, ethical work environment.
