Job summary

The Andersons, Inc. is seeking a grain operations associate to handle receiving, storage, cleaning, packaging, and shipping tasks. You will operate equipment like forklift, bobcat, and payloader while following strict food safety policies to ensure product quality.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and some grain operations experience. This on-site role requires physical stamina and the ability to work in varied weather conditions with a focus on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous grain operations experience preferred.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to frequently lift/push/pull up to 75 pounds.
• Must be able to climb/stoop/kneel at heights up to 180 feet.
• Works indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions and temperatures.
• Dust, fumes, moderate noise and uneven surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Perform grain operations tasks including general facility upkeep, sampling for quality, and packaging.
• Operate forklift, bobcat, or payloader.
• Maintain adherence to food safety policies and procedures.
• Perform tasks ensuring safety and quality of products.
• Attend required food safety and quality meetings and training events.
• Report food safety and quality issues to management.
