Job summary

Eurofins Grain Inspection invites you to join a team that ensures farmers receive fair value for their harvest and keeps America’s food supply moving. You will test and grade grain samples for moisture, weight, foreign material, mycotoxins, and non-GMO traits, then clearly report results to truck drivers, merchandisers, and farmers.

You’ll mentor new inspectors, maintain a safe, compliant lab, and contribute to process improvements while staying aligned with USDA grain standards and industry

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 0–3 years related experience is a plus.
• Passionate about agriculture and rural communities.
• Safety-conscious in every task, keeping yourself and others protected.
• Customer-service driven, ready to assist farmers and clients.
• Proficient with computers (Excel, Outlook) and eager to learn new systems.

Responsibilities

• Test and grade grain samples for moisture, weight, foreign material, mycotoxins, and non-GMO traits.
• Accurately record and communicate results to truck drivers, merchandisers, and farmers.
• Maintain sample flow through the lab and support smooth grain operations.
• Act as backup sampler/prober and handle related paperwork.
• Serve as a liaison between Eurofins, farmers, and grain companies.
• Mentor new inspectors, sharing expertise and passion for the industry.
• Keep the lab clean, safe, and compliant with health, safety, and environmental guidelines.
• Recommend improvements to equipment and processes for greater efficiency.
• Stay up to date on USDA grain standards and emerging agricultural trends.
• Contribute to a collaborative, ethical work environment that values every team member.
