Job summary

Perdue Farms is seeking a dependable Grain Delivery Driver to transport grain between facilities, follow dispatch plans, and maintain load and vehicle integrity. You will operate in a safety-focused team environment and support efficient grain operations.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, a valid Class A CDL, and at least two years of over-the-road experience. Monday–Friday schedule, physical requirements apply, and Perdue is an equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver grain according to dispatcher scheduling.
• Verify that the correct weight of grain is loaded into the truck and that the full, correct weight is delivered to the assigned facility.
• Perform daily pre-trip truck inspections according to DOT standards and report any deficiencies to fleet mechanics for repair or preventative maintenance.
• Maintain accurate logs for fuel purchases, trip tickets, daily hours, and grain pickups.
• Perform other duties as required to meet the needs of the grain department.

Summary

As a Grain Delivery Driver, you will transport grain between facilities safely and on schedule, following dispatch plans while maintaining the highest standards of load integrity and vehicle safety. You will play a key role in supporting efficient operations, protecting product quality, and ensuring equipment remains in top condition. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Minimum Education and Experience

Physical Requirements and Environmental Factors

• Ability to remain seated and operate a tractor-trailer for extended periods within DOT limits.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds to assist with loading or unloading products.
• Exposure to fuel, oil, and extreme temperatures ranging from 0°F to 100°F, with humidity up to 100% and noise levels up to 100db.
• Required to travel to remote locations and may be required to stay away from home overnight as needed.
