Short Elliott Hendrickson Inc. (SEH) is seeking a Graduate Wastewater Engineer to join our Water/Wastewater team in Duluth, Minnesota. This entry-level role offers hands-on municipal wastewater project experience within an employee-owned company, with mentorship and growth opportunities.

Base compensation is expected in the $65,000–$75,000 range, reflecting skill and experience. Candidates should be willing to travel to nearby project sites and report to the Duluth office as needed for project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
• Strong interest in water and wastewater engineering.

Responsibilities

• Assist with wastewater engineering planning, studies, design support, preliminary calculations, analyses, plans, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Support field staff through construction observation, field work, construction administration, and submittal review.
• Work closely with experienced engineers and project managers while learning SEH processes, procedures, quality expectations, and project delivery standards.
• Collaborate with wastewater, conveyance, civil, and related project teams across SEH.
• This opportunity is open to candidates residing in or willing to relocate to the Duluth, Minnesota area.

SEH is seeking an entry-level Wastewater Engineer I to join our Water/Wastewater team in Duluth, Minnesota. Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant coursework or internship experience related to wastewater, water resources, civil site, environmental, or municipal engineering.
• Foundational design, technical writing, construction observation, or construction administration experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications and engineering-related software.
• Engineer-in-Training certification or ability to obtain certification.
