Job summary

Pennoni, a multidisciplinary consulting engineering firm, seeks a Graduate Transportation Engineer in Warrington, PA to support highway and traffic projects for local municipalities, counties, state agencies, and private developers.

You'll participate in design projects, review standard engineering principles, and apply 3-D modelling tools such as MicroStation/InRoads or AutoCAD Civil 3D to deliver plans, sections, and reports, while contributing to drainage, TMPs, and signaling layouts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required; recent graduates encouraged.
• Basic understanding of highway geometry, drainage, and traffic analysis is a plus.
• Exposure to modeling tools such as OpenRoads is a plus; familiarity with SYNCHRO is beneficial.
• EIT or FE exam is a plus; strong communication and teamwork are valued.

Responsibilities

• Support highway and traffic projects for a variety of clients including municipalities, counties, state agencies, and developers.
• Participate in the development of engineering design projects, collaborating to produce plans, documents, and reports.
• Review and apply standard engineering design principles.
• Implement 3-D modelling software for transportation projects using MicroStation/InRoads or AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Contribute to design of highway infrastructure including hydrology/drainage, and prepare plans and sections.
• Assist with traffic engineering tasks from TIA to signaling plans and TMPs, including lighting plans.
• Assist with traffic impact studies review from third parties for new developments.
