Job summary

Barclays in Whippany, NJ is launching a Technology Developer Graduate program designed to give you depth and breadth of experience as you develop specialist technical expertise. You will join a fast-track environment with bespoke training from day one to prepare you for a role in technology.

As part of Technology, you will help shape the future of financial technology, working at a world-class campus with modern facilities, coding in at least one language and pursuing a degree before June 2027

Qualifications

• Strong degree or expected degree achieved before June 2027, and a GPA of 3.2 or above.
• Ability to code in at least one language.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and improve software using engineering methodologies for business, platform and technology needs.
• Develop high-quality software with scalable, maintainable, and performant code.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers and engineers to define requirements and align with business goals.
• Participate in code reviews and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
• Follow secure coding practices and implement effective unit testing.
