Job summary

Case Western Reserve University is committed to providing a transparent estimate of the salary range available for this position at the time of its posting. The salary range is between $52,705 and $66,672, depending on qualifications, experience, department budgets, and industry data.

POSITION OBJECTIVE

The Recruiter, Graduate Programs supports pipeline growth and enrollment generation across assigned graduate business programs by driving top-of-funnel prospect engagement and outreach activity. Working in close partnership with Senior Recruiters and recruitment leadership, this position is responsible for identifying and engaging prospective students, executing outreach strategies, representing programs at recruiting and on-campus events, and supporting the development of prospect relationships. Depending on program need, the Recruiter may manage select candidate relationships through the full recruitment cycle. Make admissions recommendations and have a seat in admissions decisions. Success is measured through outreach volume, prospect engagement, pipeline contribution, and support of overall enrollment goals.

Essential Functions
  • Execute prospect outreach and top-of-funnel pipeline activity. Conduct high-volume outreach to prospective students through phone, email, text, and digital channels to generate inquiries and build awareness of graduate programs. Identify and engage qualified prospects, respond to inbound inquiries, and support Senior Recruiters in maintaining active and growing pipelines. Maintain consistent follow-up cadences and engagement touchpoints to move prospects toward application. (40%)
  • Represent graduate programs at recruitment and on-campus events. Attend college fairs, on-campus recruiting events, information sessions, and other outreach activities, primarily within the state, with occasional additional travel as needed. Serve as a visible and enthusiastic representative of Weatherhead graduate programs, communicating program value, career outcomes, and return on investment to prospective students and referral sources. Evening and weekend availability required during peak recruitment periods. (25%)
  • Support prospect relationship development and conversion. Build relationships with prospective students and, depending on program assignment, guide select candidates through the recruitment process from initial inquiry through enrollment. Make admissions recommendations and have a seat in admissions decisions. Conduct informational conversations, assist prospects in evaluating program fit, and connect candidates with appropriate resources to support their decision-making process. (20%)
  • Maintain pipeline records and operational discipline. Utilize CRM and enrollment systems to log all prospect activity, communications, and pipeline progression accurately and in a timely manner. Maintain organized records, adhere to established recruitment processes and service standards, and support reporting and forecasting efforts. (15%)
Nonessential Functions
  • Support strategic recruitment initiatives by partnering with Senior Recruiters, enrollment leadership, and marketing to contribute to broader recruitment strategy and enrollment planning efforts. (5%)
  • Utilize CRM, reporting tools, and emerging technologies to improve prospect engagement, productivity, and recruitment effectiveness. (4%)

Perform other duties as assigned.

CONTACTS

Department: Regular contact with Senior Recruiters, recruitment leadership, marketing, operations, and administrative staff to coordinate outreach efforts, share pipeline updates, and support enrollment goals.

University: Periodic contact with student services, financial aid, and alumni relations to facilitate prospect support and program promotion.

External: Regular contact with prospective students, employers, alumni, undergraduate career centers, and campus partners to generate leads and build referral relationships.

Students: Continuous contact with prospective and admitted students to represent the school and support their enrollment journey.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position has no direct supervision of staff employees.

Qualifications

Experience: 3 years of experience in recruitment, admissions, enrollment management, sales, customer service, or a related field.

Education: Bachelor's degree required.

  • Ability to meet consistent attendance requirements.
  • Ability to interact with colleagues, supervisors, and customers face to face.
WORKING CONDITIONS

Ability to travel within the state is required to support on-campus recruiting events, college fairs, information sessions, and other outreach activities (approximately 10¿20%). Evening and weekend hours are periodically required to support recruitment events and enrollment cycles.

This position is eligible for hybrid work arrangement up to two remote days per week at the discretion of the department. New employees may begin a hybrid schedule upon approval from the supervisor, successful completion of an orientation period and signing the remote work checklist certification form.
