Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
• RN licensure in Mississippi or a compact state.
• Current CPR certification.
• Effective communication and teaching skills.

Responsibilities

• Use the nursing process to provide safe, quality patient care and document accordingly.
• Comply with NMHS policies and requirements as directed by the Nurse Manager and Educator.
• Provide patient/family education and act as a resource for staff.
• Participate in Preceptor class to train new employees.
• Maintain communication with multidisciplinary team members for holistic care.
• Attend daily huddles to coordinate assignments and identify unit staff.
