Los Alamos National Laboratory in Los Alamos, NM, invites graduate students to join the Quantum and Condensed Matter Physics Group for hands-on research opportunities starting summer or later. You will contribute to teams focusing on quantum matter, strongly correlated systems, and AMO physics under a staff scientist mentor.

Applicants must be enrolled in a graduate program in physics, chemistry or engineering, carry at least 3.2 GPA, and enroll in 6 credit hours.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited graduate degree program in physics, chemistry or engineering.
• Must be enrolled in at least 6 semester credit hours (or full-time equivalent).
• Must maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.2 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent).
