Job summary

Amentum is offering a structured development role combining hands-on Quantity Surveying with training. You’ll gain exposure to cost management, procurement, contract administration, and commercial reporting while pursuing a Quantity Surveying degree if not already held.

As you grow, you’ll take on greater responsibilities with a pathway toward professional accreditation, supported by experienced QS and Commercial Managers. Hybrid, flexible, and part-time options are discussed.

Qualifications

• Strong numerical and analytical abilities required.
• Clear communication and attention to detail are essential.
• Willingness to study towards a Quantity Surveying degree alongside the role.

Responsibilities

• Support commercial and QS activities across live projects.
• Assist with cost management, forecasting, payments and contract administration.
• Help manage contract changes, early warnings and compensation events.
• Support procurement, tendering and bid activities.
• Maintain commercial records, reports and project documentation.
• Develop knowledge of NEC3/NEC4 contracts and processes.
• Work alongside senior QS and Commercial Managers to build expertise.
