Job summary

DV Trading seeks a 2027 Quantitative Trader Graduate to join the DV Equities desk in New York. You will learn proprietary methodologies, work with senior traders and researchers, and help develop and monitor data-driven trading models across global equity markets.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a quantitative degree with strong Python skills and familiarity with SQL/C++, and a passion for markets, trading, and fast-paced environments. A base salary is offered with discretionary bonus potential.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in a quantitative field with expected Summer 2027 graduation.
• Strong Python proficiency; experience with SQL, statistical modeling, or C++ is highly preferred.
• Solid foundation in math, probability, and statistics.
• Genuine interest in financial markets, algorithmic trading, and market microstructure.

Responsibilities

• Work with senior traders to learn proprietary methodologies and quantitative trading systems.
• Contribute to execution and risk management of systematic trading strategies.
• Build, maintain, and improve quantitative trading models using historical data.
• Analyze large datasets to uncover patterns and alpha opportunities.
• Enhance strategies through data-driven research and iteration.
• Coordinate with trading desk, internal teams, and OTC relationships.
• Monitor live trading performance and adjust models in real time.
• Take on additional duties aligned with interests and skills.
