Job summary

American University in Washington, DC seeks a Graduate Program Assistant (Programming GA) for the DC Reads initiative. This student position focuses on programming support, administrative tasks, logistics, and curriculum development to advance education equity on campus and in the DC community.

You will plan TL orientations, book event spaces, organize interviews, coordinate with team leaders, and help develop leadership curricula.

• Ability to manage events and mentor student leaders.
• Experience with administrative tools and a proactive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate TL orientation and events each semester.
• Book event spaces and manage scheduling.
• Organize interviews and assist in interview processes.
• Develop curriculum and meeting agendas with TLs.
• Maintain EA records and prepare certificates for End of Year.
• Support the Director and lead recruitment efforts.
