Job summary

CSA Group is seeking new engineering graduates for its Graduate Development Program in the Cleveland laboratory. You’ll work on testing and certifying new products, learning under mentoring engineers, and gaining project management skills to become a Product Safety Engineer.

The program targets graduates for June 2027 start, with training to meet global safety standards and a path to certification careers within CSA Group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Be curious and eager to learn new technologies while applying basic electrical theory.
• Think outside the box to apply efficient methods of doing different tasks related to testing and certification.
• Work closely with Certification Managers to successfully complete training.
• Manage certification projects with the assistance of a mentor ensuring compliance with all applicable safety requirements.
• Evaluate products against requirements of the national standards and guidelines.
• Job shadow Product Safety Engineers and Laboratory Technicians to meet training requirements.
• Review test data/reports and show an understanding of technical requirements to support the application of the CSA Mark.
• Compile subsequent certification reports.
• Keep the Managers informed of project status as required, pointing out progress and findings.
• Correctly interpret the results from the tests.
