Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning from pharmacy school in real-world practice under a preceptor, completing a 120‑day training roadmap and supporting the pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate prescriptions and caring service.

As you progress, you may assume greater responsibilities, assist with immunizations where allowed, and rotate to stores across the market as needed to support operations and patient care.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
• Attention and Focus: ability to concentrate on a task over a period of time and pivot quickly between tasks
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: help people, be friendly and responsive
• Communication Skills: clear verbal and written interaction with patients and colleagues
• Mathematical Reasoning: calculate prescriptions and supplies
• Problem Resolution: handle challenging patient or colleague interactions effectively
• Any additional tasks as directed by Supervisor or Manager
