Job summary

CVS Health is offering a Graduate Pharmacy Intern program designed to immerse you in store and district operations while you apply didactic learning to real-world pharmacy practice. Under supervision, you will complete a comprehensive training roadmap within 120 days, supporting pharmacists and technicians to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and excellent patient care.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required by state guidelines.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines; failure to obtain licensure within 120 days of graduation will result in separation.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
• Attention and focus to concentrate on a task over time
• Ability to pivot quickly between tasks to meet patient and business needs
• Ability to confirm prescription information and label accuracy for patient safety
• Customer service and team orientation to assist people in a friendly manner
• Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues
• Mathematical reasoning to compute dosages and supply needs
• Problem resolution when faced with challenging patient or colleague interactions
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs as needed
